Thank you @Diane Tyler's Mom!! I dropped the glargine prescription off this afternoon and will have it in hand tomorrow. I would love a recommendation for U-100 syringes with half unit markings.

I will familiarize myself with the yellow Lantus/glargine stickies in the morning. Do you happen to know how many units we should start with? I’m assuming it’ll be suggested in the Lantus forum, in which case I can follow up with any questions once I’ve read through.

I missed this message earlier but I appreciate it @Bron and Sheba (GA) ! I cancelled my trip so we’ll be diving into the glargine journey this week .

@GreySnowman Hi there
most pharmacy's don't carry the U-100 syringes with half unit markings .
I know Walmart does , I think you will need a script

If you don't have a Walmart close by let me know and I can give you more info on where to get them
You can get the syringes with half unit markings at a Walmart. Their ReliOn Brand syringes of 0.3 cc (30 unit) capacity come with half unit markings. Cost $12.58 for a box of 100
This is what the packaging looks like: either box is fine
They won't say it half unit on the box but the are . open then and look before you leave the store, can't be ordered on line , need to go into the store

@GreySnowman
Sorry I can't help you out on what size you should start with , you can post and ask
One thing can you get a few tests in after the PMPS test, you are missing half the picture. When you do start the glargine ,please add to your signature and the date so members know and also add it to your spreadsheet
Also make a blank line above the date you start it and put Started Glargine and highlight it with any color
When you decide what food you are going to feed can you add that to your signature.
I think you will really like the glargine :cat:

It depends on the state. Here in California, I can buy the Walmart syringes without a prescription :)
