I increased Panzer's dose to 3.75 units last night. He had a great cycle & is even lower today. My house canceled for today so I will be monitoring him all day.

He is still doing the pain meow when using the litter box sometimes, which tells me that amoxicillin is not helping. He still has 3 more days on it.

I've been looking at Urinary gold for cat Urinary tract health & kidney support on pet well being. I know he hasn't been diagnosed with CKD yet but these UTIs/infections can't be good on his kidneys. I'm just not sure about the ingredients for a diabetic cat? I'm on my phone so I can't post pictures. I'm also making a post on the FB page with pictures of the ingredients.

I'm going to call the vet I fired after Panzers dental & find out if they will let me bring him in for the PUREVAX rabies vaccine, since my high tech vet & my old school vet don't carry it. In the meantime while I'm getting the $ together I thought about trying one of the above mentioned products.

Please help me try to get rid of these UTI/infections @Suzanne & Darcy @tiffmaxee @Wendy&Neko @Sienne and Gabby (GA) @Larry and Kitties @Shelley & Jess @Claire and Kaz @carfurby (GA) @Ale & Bobo & Minnie (GA) @ ANYBODY WHO CAN HELP

My high tech vet did over a year ago & the results are in my post from 03-24-22. My vet now refuses to do a cystocentesis, he says it does more harm than good. So we've just been getting antibiotics 3x now!
 
I called the vet I fired to ask about just bringing him in for the rabies PUREVAX & they won't ever see him again :arghh: guess I burnt that bridge :rolleyes: the FB group is suggesting a mobile vet so I'm going to Google & see if there are any in my area.
 
How can a cystocentesis do harm? Not all infections are from the same strain so one a year ago is of no use. A cystocentesis, culture and sensitivity is what’s needed. So sorry to hear this.

I know & my other vet will do it but first I gotta find somewhere who carries the PUREVAX & do a one time walk in for it. He's so old school, he's tried to retire twice now but can't get anyone to take over for him! I like him but he needs to get with the times already!

Wow that's nice I wish my state didn't require it. Everything is illegal here, for the longest time we were the only state that you couldn't buy alcohol on Sundays. I'm not a drinker but my state seems to be last one for everything! When Panzer was a baby & he got neutered they asked me if I wanted him to have shots & I said no, not sure how we got around not having to have the rabies vaccine but we did until he was 8yrs old.
 
This may turn out to be a long night for me!!! I know 53 is an absolutely safe # but the question is...is this his nadir tonight? He's very sleepy when he gets this low:)
