7/4 - Buddy AMPS 112 +3 79 +7 62 (following reduction!)

We reduced Buddy to 5 units on 7/2 for his PM shot.

His numbers have been GOOD! He just got a 79 at his +3 test for today.

It's still early on the new dose but he has NEVER reacted this well to reductions!! To say we are happy is an understatement.

His behavior has improved a small amount. So we are still unsure if he has dementia.

Could still be a bit of the 5.5 unit depot - which lasts 4-6 cycles after a reduction. But I agree it does look promising.

Can you get a test in a couple hours? Would like to see he's stopped the drop.

@Wendy&Neko - we had to go out but i just tested him at +7 and he was 62.

Thanks @Diane Tyler's Mom. He was 177 PMPS but it's also non-stop fireworks for the past 2+ hours, so it is possible that got his numbers elevated but we'll see.

I hate this dam holiday! I'm glad he was safe last night with his BG numbers.

makes me wonder if that cyst removal made a difference. It seems like he started to have more well-regulated BGs after that surgery. More greens. Reductions held.

I have to admit seeing the joy at his successful reductions takes me right back to last year with Hendrick. I remember just being absolutely baffled that I could reduce the dose and his numbers would actually not only continue to be good but after a few days....even improve! On a lower dose. It's like some kind of magic.
