Frustrated

Bouncing is a perfectly normal, but annoying feature of feline diabetes. That +2 data will tell you if he's going lower overnight, and if you have to change to dose. Good idea to move the time earlier. You can move the time 1/2 hour once per day, or 15 minutes per shot.

He's actually pretty flat, within meter variance, so will see some downward movement, but probably not a lot. Any chance your son could learn to spot test when he gets up?

Oh, I so hear you, especially right now! We're having a big run of pinks, bigger than ever, and now upper yellows, after such great surfing of blues...makes me crazy!

No ,he can't do anything for himself really. I have to help him with most everything he needs. Part of my frustration. There isn't enough of me to go around. I had clothes sitting in the dryer for 2 days now. I hit the ground running early am and crash around midnight. My husband messaged me this morning he is working tmrw..so another day I will be in my own. I get no breaks really.

Yes it's difficult when you think there doing good. I figured it out he ate the dogs food. Now just any dog food it's in a thick gravy. Adam of course was thrilled...Jake not so much !

Ok got a +2 he went higher not lower like we are thinking. I will try to move him back more tmrw again. I know I can move him 30 mins at a time and he is ok with it. It is 11:30 pm and I have to get some sleep. My son gets up at 5:20am

Most of the time my boy doesn't start dropping until +3 or +4 both AM & PM. I don't know how early you can move his shot forward due to everything you are dealing with. I give Panzer his shot at 6am & 6pm which usually allows me to get a +3 in, in the morning before I leave for work & then I test him in the evening from +3 -+6. I'm not in the same situation as you are though. I get alot of broken sleep but I live alone with my 2 cats & I am self employed so my job is flexible & I can nap & try to play catch up on the weekends depending on Panzer's numbers.
