Oh Mr Sylvester...silly pussy cat! Just like Jack, always making the Mommas worry about increase and decrease. I don't have any dose advice, but I'm sending hugs and happy green vibes for you guys! :D Will be watching for Wendy's advice, she always has the right ideas for Jack....:bighug:

Yes she does, she is excellent at scanning the SS and finding all the clues!

Hoping this is his max dose, as this was the breakthrough we got to back in April, but if he ends up needing more, it is what it is.

Just seems very level for 24 hours and don't want to push him over the edge, so to speak.

I think it's funny how when they aren't sky rocketing, their hunger is lower, so trying to feed him up is an issue on its own, I have to add chicken, or broth, he's a pain in the ass!

Now of course if I were giving out kibble, he'd be happy as a pig in you know what!!

Yes I would give his poor ears a rest also
In case you are interested and might need something for the future

If his ears are looking beat up a lot of members put a dab of pure coconut oil on them
Here is what one member said
I have copied this from one of the members posts
just make sure the only ingredient is coconut oil (mine is solid at room temp and I would take an itty bitty dab and rub on his ears)
It seemed to help with the healing
You might be able to get it at a health food store or just Google pure coconut oil

Yes, we use organic coconut oil!! I used to have to rub it on my late cat Luigi. His paw pads would get dry and cracked.

Sly's ears look ok, but I think I'll start doing maintenance on them. He lurrrves attention and his ears massaged!

Great idea!!!

Thanks Diane!!:bighug:

His spreadsheet looks a lot different now than on the 26th when I was talking about increases. :D Doses with green nadirs get 10 cycles, today is cycle 10. But I might hold another day and see if he's decided this is his dose. Or if he's teasing. With a nadir of 76, he does have a little room for an increase, so I'll keep that threat open for him. Do it Sly!

We were apparently typing at the same time. Yeah, he's still green. Longest streak so far in his short history.

Will hold tonight, and see what he puts up.

Thank you!

Thanks Suzanne!

I hope you and your kitty gang are doing well!! We don't get graced with your presence often, you're usually in Prozinc World! :bighug:
I know! I somehow got stuck over on the ProZinc forum, and it keeps me really busy a lot of the time. There are a lot of people over there who need help and, right now, not many people to help them. My cats are mostly okay, but it's always something!

We are lucky to have you, no matter where you're helping!

Yes, always something.. I do understand! A few weeks back I had an ingrown toenail incident on a Saturday afternoon and the Vet was closed, so I had to do the removal myself! Glad I keep Clavamox on hand!

Wow. I'm surprised kitty was cooperative for that operation! You are brave! I, too, have a cat pharmacy at home (never throw any meds away and always stock up whenever you can).

Haha...mostly cooperative! I was by myself that day so I had to hold him and remove it simultaneously! But you know how it is when your adrenaline kicks in!
