Hi Everyone, it’s urgent.
I’m going to a FULL blood test for my girl.

**she does have sugar / pancreatitis/ kidney on margin/ high blood pressure/ liver enzymes .

She is extremely hungry
over growing her body
Hiding under bed after eat.
Walking slowly
Seems like does have pain on legs
When I pat her tummy her third eye covering 3/5


Please please tell me what kind of other test I should do today???

When are you getting the blood tests done?
Is Cierra eating well. I would let her eat as much as she wants. It is good she is hungry.
What do you mean...overgrowing her body?
Are you going to the new vet or the one you don't like?
I would ask for a fPL spec blood test for pancreatitis. It is a separate blood test to the full blood count

Hi Bron , we did a full blood test /fructosamine test / T4 ,

I told them to do fPL test to check pancreatitis, but they haven’t done it. I’ll update data on my SS. According to vet all good even though some numbers high. There is a new vet on same place and she decided to give Morning 2.5 U and evening 2.5 U.I’m giving that dose since day before yesterday. They suggested urinary care prescription dry food. I didn’t say anything. I ask about human Amlodipine and vet said that’s okay to give it. ( it’s only 6.50) her SDMA is out of margin( 15)
Liver enzymes 411 .
Yes I had to go to same vet place Bron . But deferent Doctor.

her weight is 6.2kg. vet told me to reduce her weight and concentrate about diabetes.

he also told me when SDMA out of range that mean 25 % of her kidney doesn’t work. Is that true ?

It will be interesting to see the results of the tests.
Can you update the SS please even if it is just with the dose of insulin. Is the libre not working?
Normal SDMA is up to 14 so it is only just out of range. Keep doing what you are doing feeding the low phosphorus foods. Don't feed the urinary care dry food. that is very high carb.
Did he give you a prescription for the human amlodipine?

We lost tissue glue and super glue , manage to buy one today. No he told me to call tomorrow with the dose to write the prescription. That girl with NSDD Card she gave me her card, but sadly it’s expired.

Probably a good thing. If you were caught using someone else’s NDIS card you would get into trouble.

Do you know what dose to tell the vet? Is this for the amlodipine?

Yes that’s true Bron ,vet didn’t tell me the dose, I think he is going to give me same dose. Yes it is Amlodipine. Her Blood pressure was so high

When I took Sheba in to get her BP taken I would keep the carrier covered with a towel and get the vet to take the BP as soon as we went into the consulting room so Sheba was not too stressed.
I can see by those readings that Cierra was more stressed in the beginning
What did the vet think of the readings?
 
Vet said this is after they took blood from her. I don’t them and remind again and again can we check her blood pressure. But they took her inside and did not let me go with her. They have make her suffer a lot Bron , what is the law regarding this Bron . Can they tell I can’t watch while they take blood? I’m just fed up . Check the photo blood is all over UNDER her skin.

I told them she is walking slowly. I’m just wondering is there any test to check diabetes neuropathic?or It could be arthritis? I call new vet place which is I want to register. But they have taken lots of Students to work there. I think it’s better this Devil which is I know than god i don’t know. What do you think.

It can be hard when they want to take the cat out the back to get blood. This never happened to me at my old vet, but he has now retired. At the new vet I said I wanted to be there and they agreed because I knew Harry would be much better if I was there.
Next time I would say you want the BP taken first thing.
Then I would say you want them to get the blood where you can be. There is no law about it, but it is up to the vet.

Can you take a video of Cierra walking so we can see?
I think the new vet place that has taken students would be fine. They would be vet students in their final years I would think and may know new things.
 
I just thought that I would comment also about the blood pressure readings. My vet always takes blood pressure first thing before even examining my cats and most definitely before drawing blood.

Okay. I see now that this was from a blood draw. Whoever did it really bruised her up. I’m sorry.
