Seems like lately almost every morning (not night though), she's well under 200 so I'm not experienced (or brave!) enough to shoot and have to skip. Should I be worried or does this sometimes happen given she's a newbie?

If you are able, you can stall until she comes up to a comfortable number. See where she is at +1 or +1.5.

She's higher at PMPS due to the skipped a.m. doses. You can always try going back to 1/4 unit, if that gives you more peace of mind leaving for work, and at least she will be getting something in her.

The testing will get easier. Try using a small treat, like freeze dried chicken to appease her when you test.

You might want to try 0.25U and see if that's a dose you can shoot consistently twice a day. Glargine is actually very good at giving flat cycles when you shoot low.
On a day when you can monitor, you might want to try shooting and see where that takes her.
I’ve suggested also that you need to find a dose you can safely shoot every 12 hours.

Do u mean I can give her a treat after I test if she's still too low to shoot? I thought that affects the #?
