5/17: Lando AMPS: 102, +3.5 90

Tank, that 47 on 5/13 earned him a reduction. I haven't gone back and read, but is there a reason you didn't decrease to 0.5U?

When it happened Gus and Kim were saying they'd personally consider it a temporary reduction, as he'd been consistently doing well on the .75u and didn't consider it "earned"? So I decided to stick with the .75 and see how his numbers played out over the next week, and if we were consistently hitting the 50s I'd reduce.... Honestly I don't think my dosing has been as consistent as I'd like, as I'm struggling with big air bubbles at lower doses even tho I'm using calipers. So I'm currently working on fixing that issue!
Even though he's been sitting around 80-110 do you think I should still reduce to the .5? He definitely was higher those next couple days, but I wasn't sure if it was a bounce or because I gave him .5 that night.

Since he is newly diagnosed, a drop below 50 is a reduction. I would go down to 0.5U. The higher numbers are probably him bouncing - both from that 47 as well as the dives he seems to be doing every now and then.

He definitely has been diving! It's like one day he's sitting around 90 all day, and the next he's getting pretty 60s. he's just going back and forth. We're at the end of our pen of Lantus so I'll probably be starting a new one this week!
I'll start him on the .50 tomorrow morning and will keep an eye on him until my next day off next Tuesday and see where we're at!
