Still doing well!
Wondering if I'll be expecting a bounce soon, as last night I fed Lando a snack @+4 and set the auto feeder to feed him a snack for +5 and +6 as it's still his usual drop times. Went to bed and he was 61. Got up this morning and his auto feeder never opened :banghead: that kinda thing drives me CRAZY!
Either way though good news is he's fine but that sure stressed me out

I would take a reduction to 0.75U from tomorrow. One of the ways a cat can earn a reduction is by staying in normal numbers for a week.

From the sticky on
Reminder: *earning* reductions and starting OTJ trials

"REDUCTIONS:
Newly diagnosed diabetics - less than one year since diagnosis
  • reduction *earned* after a single drop below 50 mg/dL and following TR, or
  • reduction *earned* after 3 drops between 40 - 50 mg/dL on three separate days for kitties who have shown they do not hold reductions well and following TR, or
  • reduction *earned* when the cat regularly has its lowest BGs in the normal range of a healthy cat (50 - 80 mg/dL) and stays under 100 mg/dl overall for at least one week and following TR."

I just saw this message! Should I try .75u tonight and go from there?
Currently for the morning, we feed every 1.5 hours until the 6hr mark, and in the evenings I have to feed hourly until the 6 hour mark to keep him from dropping into the 50s so I can go to bed on time lol! So far it's prevented any late nights since going to 1u.
He's averaging under 100, aside from a couple mornings when he sits a teeny bit higher. Our highest number since our reduction was 118 on May 2nd.
