The box says ultra fine but I don't see a gauge on it.? They are the same ones I use on myself.

Ultra fine and Micro fine are too thin and won't poke a very big hole. Look for FINE ....some 26-28 gauge lancets will be marked "for alternate site testing)

You can get a box of 100 Fine lancets at Walmart for $1.62. If you use a lancet device (other than the Relion), I'm not sure if these lancets will fit, but you can get a Relion lancet device for $5.62. If you freehand it, it doesn't matter what brand you use.

I used the OneTouch Ultrasoft on Neko. Seemed to be less noticeable to her as they advertise.

What medication are you giving for her tummy?

Thanks will do! I have a Relion but don't use it I should compare the 2 number wise. We each have our own Contour so I have 3 lancets. I was just at Walmart today, I'll order the ultra fine from Amazon. Thanks for the reply and I'll remember to do the bump! I have to upload her numbers from today.

I just looked on Amazon and those are the same ones I have! The medication is Metronidazole. There is something in Young Again and Dr. Elsey's that does NOT agree with her at all.
 
Some cats react badly to whatever is in YA. It is pretty rich. Is she OK if you just feed Dr. Elsey's? Strictly speaking, she shouldn't be getting dry if you are following TR.

No she is not on any dry I only gave her 4-5 bites and boom.....Heck she only had a teaspoon of YA same thing...Both cats what a nightmare. I was hoping later down the road she'd be able to have that if for some reason I couldn't get home to feed her right away but I have 2 of the C500 automatic feeders coming be here Thursday. Allie is strictly canned.
