Day 2 at the Weird Numbers Convention. Chispa has her coffee and danish and is working the room at the Networking Breakfast. :cat::coffee:

Meanwhile, I am wondering if we are looking at a failed reduction.

One complicating factor: I'll be traveling for work for a week, starting a week from today (4/5), leaving DBF in charge. He won't be home to test during the day, so maybe it's to stick with the current 3.5 for the time being. What do you think?
@Bandit's Mom @Wendy&Neko

She was dropping to the 50s on this dose before the missed shot. She has been a little higher since as the depot rebuilds. We could re-evaluate the dose 2-3 days before you have to leave. Say on the 1st or 2nd? From the point of view of vacation dosing.

What Bhooma said. Wait for six cycles after a skip before deciding what this dose is doing.
Ok. Thanks, Wendy. I don’t know what up with this “rising at +2 +3” business, but it’s something I’ve never seen before, and I’m not loving the trend. Guess we will see what happens.

Once again, I fear I am losing my marbles.

My first thought upon seeing 157 at +4 was, "It's like she didn't get the shot," though I remembered giving it to her. So I opened up the can that I toss the used syringes into, and lo and behold --- there was a syringe with more than 2 units remaining in it. How could that be??? Obviously some part of the dose got into her, but why not the rest???? Maybe the plunger got stuck and I didn't notice. I just don't know.

I'm glad there is an explanation, I guess, but "caregiver incompetence" is not what I was hoping for.

What a strange thing - good thing you checked the syringe! But come Karen! You are NOT incompetent! You are the most caring, most dedicated loving mom for Chispa and it was an accident! It could have happened to anyone! :)

Hope you got some rest last night :bighug::bighug::bighug:

@Mikanmama I read your note to Chispa and she nodded in agreement, which made me feel a whole lot better. So thank you. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:
Hope you and Mikan have a great day today!!!
