I think it's worth a try. Any chance you can move shot times so that you can get a +1.5 or +2 on the 3 days you are working? Or would that mean you can't get home in time for the PM shot?

Yes, you needn't gradually dial back. You can just go down to 1/2 capsule twice a day.

Thanks so much for your responses. Ok good to know on dialling back.

No unfortunately I have no flexibility moving my work time. I’m already cutting my day short to make it back in time. I have a 1.5-2hour commute each way. I leave the house 10-15 mins after I give the am shot and starting the PM shot process as soon as I get back.
