You can do it! Try not to feed higher carbs later in the cycle.![]()
Of course, I have a separate hypo-ready box just in case! Good morning Kit!! I hope Mikan sails safely today!!!![]()

Congrats on the reduction! Did you give her some food and can you test again in about 20-30 minutes?@Bandit's Mom
Bummer. I had to be out for +3 and +4. I just tested her for +5 and it was 46. I really wanted to keep her at 1.5But this means reduction?
Wow! She is quite something, isn't she? She's gone between 1.25U and 1.5U a couple of times. You could choose to follow the rule for cats that fail reductions which is 3 drops between 40 and 50 on 3 separate days. So you'd hold the dose till she drops 2 more times.

You might also want to start feeding her a little 11% at +4 (or +3 if that's when you leave for work) in cycles when she is in low blues to see if that reduces the diving at +5/+6.Thank you Bhooma! I like the option of holding the dose unless she goes down to the 40s three times.
I think she has a better chance with the current dose.
Strike one now. We shall see...![]()

Good strategy!Got it!
I now have a ridiculous amount of LC food, 0-6% all lined up! Fed her some 0% at +1.5. I put higher MCs and HCs behind the LC cans so I will have to think about it before reaching for them. This will hopefully calm my panic when I see a lower numberOf course, I have a separate hypo-ready box just in case!
I am ready! Come on Mikan, show me what you can do!![]()

Good strategy!![]()

I've collected so many different kind of LC cans - I can open a cat diner![]()
