Nice start considering a 3 hour delay, reduced dose AND a solid run of blues yesterday.

He's pretty flat from last night's cycle. Might want to keep an EXTRA eye on him today![]()
I told him that I prefer tap over ballet, and to be nice!!

Good morning!
So much excitement you guys have had lately. Sly is such a party boy
Hope he gives you a peaceful blue/green day!![]()
Morning Deb, I hope Sly surfs safely today![]()

The 3 hour delay would have any one screwy, I know I've beenthere. I think shooting 12 hours from PMPS is a good idea, provided Sly is high enough to shoot. What is your No Shoot number?
Looks like he's starting to come up a bit. How long before amps?

You're not but looks like Sly isI'm not ready for a third reduction in 1 week.

A BCS is shooting a reduced dose, 50% or less. To be honest, I don't know how that would affect the schedule of the next shot.I hate to BCS
Others here may disagree but, If it were me, I would skip and resume my normal shot time tonight and feeding schedule throughout today. Sly recovered quite quickly from the last skip.I hate to BCS twice in a week, but do you think I should and then just resume normal 7pm for PMPS tonight?

ABSOLUTELY!My other thought is I can skip, and if he's high an hour before normal time, I could shoot at 6pm and either stay there, or close the gap in time.
It makes perfect sense! Any changes in diet can and probably will effect insulin needs. We want our cats regulated but IMO the primary objective is to get them there SAFELY.Does that make sense?
It actually stands for "BCS Dose - big chicken sh*t dose". See this link to the FDMB slang dictionary LOL http://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/threads/lantus-levemir-land-slang-dictionary.1903/Ok, for some reason I thought BCS was a skip during Bounce Clearing cycles.

Deb, you are a wonderful mom. Sly is lucky to have you there.
I totally understand being less risk-taking when it comes to our sugar babies. I'm the same way!
Hope Sly will do well today and you can have a peaceful Saturday!![]()

I feel the same wayI am a risk taker by nature with MYSELF, but not when shooting 5 units of insulin into my precious boy..![]()
I think that's a great plan. Sly technically didn't earn a reduction to your modified SLGS reduction point, but maybe more experienced members can shed some light if you should take one anyway to 4.75.I'm going to skip and plan to shoot at 6 pm.
