I was wrong in my prediction lol; she did the opposite and is high.
This morning I offered her a Fancy Feast grilled can; at first she didn't want it, but after some swipes of the gravy on her paw, she started chowing down. It's like she's resistant to trying new things, but once she does, she actually likes most of the stuff she initially turns down. Even though it's not a pate, I read that any canned food is better than even the best dry food, and I am starting to wonder if she prefers shredded textures.
Overall she ate pretty good last night, but I would just like to see more initiation on her own. We'll see how today goes!

She now has diarrhea. Not sure what from because she's been getting anything and everything to encourage her to eat. Of course I'm suspicious again of the Elsey but that seemed to bind her up before. Too many potential "culprits."

Probably is the Dr. Elsey's ive had cats react the same. Add a little Fortiflora to her wet today, that will help her out.

That food just seems like bad food in general. :confused:I only gave it again because giving her anything and everything to eat. Now I got to take it away again.

I wouldn't take it away. Any diet change should be done gradually. Thats a very high protein food, so soft poops are common until they adjust. If you take it away and then use it just to get her to eat again, she'll have diarrhea, so just give her some Fortiflora.

Sly had incredible diarrhea when we started the Young Again, now his poops are perfect.

When we did it gradually, she got bound up. I just can't seem to win. :( this morning it was like water.

So far she's liking the Nine Lives hearty bits canned food. I think she prefers that kind of texture. She's eaten about 2 cans today, plus a little dry.

I want to ask the vet more about that brand though. What do you guys think of 9 lives? Doesnt sound like the best out there. I'm hoping too that she'll be good with my moving her shot time. We've been messed up since DST and I can't seem to get us back on track. I have to move her back faster than I'd really like. Yesterday she got shot 758... this morning 748... tomorrow morning I can't do later than 735 or I'll be late ... again:arghh:

I think the time change is ok, it's small increments. For a cat that has other issues, like pancreatitis, you should determine if the food helps or hinders the condition. If its merely that you need her to eat consistently, then I would personally feed whatever the cat will eat.

Now she's peeing on the carpet, omg:facepalm::arghh::banghead: don't know why. Will let vet know. Shes also going in box too so makes no sense

She's had behavioral issues in the past. Vets couldnt find anything wrong. May have to re- train her to use just her box. This cat is going to be the death of me. :arghh: such a problem child
