Me too! He's all over today. He hit 351 at +7, fingers crossed that he comes down before PMPS. He likes to do that!! Hahaha!

Thanks! We are so not used to green numbers- got a bit scared and gave her MC - she bounced right back up to 223 at +7 from +4 92 . Such a delicate balance we have to aim for!

Yes, balance is everything. Next time try a little LC unless she goes below 90. Last night Sly hit 73 and I gave some Fancy Feast LC, he came back up to 85 within an hour. And then bounced his way up to AMPS

Ya, we are both new to this Hope we get used to having multiple greens soon

Thanks for the tip on feeding. I have to try not panicking so readily when I see a low number! I'll try LC food unless she goes down into the hypo zone

I used HC the other day because I panicked!
My last diabetic cat was very different, he was easy.

I am learning alot with Sly. He's all over today, he came back to 261...

It was a small amount, it looked like he drank water maybe after eating.

HC was good because of how early we are in the cycle. Wet food takes about 20-30 minutes to effect BG so yes 30 mins sounds about right.

Ok that's what I was thinking, so he spikes earlier in the cycle. I only gave a teaspoon. Then he drank a little.

A. Regurgitate
Or
B. Fill up on water

Another clue that he was clearing the bounce was the 100pt difference between the +7 and +9.5. there will be a little extra testing for both Sly and you but you've got this

Congrats on the reduction! Why are you crying, you're doing great . 73 and 69 are within meter variance. Maybe another smidge of HC perhaps just the gravy/juice.

I just checked him again and he was 67, so I gave him a tsp of HC, holy crap.

I just tested at +2.25 and he's 72,

I gave him 1 tsp. LC and he ate half. Going to check at +3 10pm.

Considering how much you test, there is no harm...it's possible he might be done with the dose though. You could hold it and see.
