right?!!??! after taking a close look at his SS, he hasn't had a yellow/bounce (from the blues/greens) since he started having them yesterday morning!!

stupid question time: since Bubba had been at this dose before and we did a dose reduction (which failed)... how long should I keep Bubba at this dose of 6U before trying a reduction? I want to ensure Bubba can hold his greens/blues and get used to them before a dose reduction ... and to hopefully prevent some possible bouncing or at least the ability to quickly clear a bounce and resume blues/greens with the reduced dose.

We hold doses with green nadirs for 10 cycles, unless he earns a reduction. Maybe more, depending on whether he's looking regulated and where the nadirs are landing.

ok thanks. with my night shift nurse brain I wouldn't be surprised if I ask the same Q a few times hahaha
and since Bubba has been in the darker greens and blues ... no limes... that doesn't mean an automatic reduction like before (where we saw lime greens on Mar 4 then Mar 7). I just wanna make sure I interpret the TR protocol properly. So happy for my baby boy!
also, would the green/blue cycle for Bubba start Mar 12 AM or Mar 12 PM? since he was yellow Mar 12 AMPS
Bubba is considered newly diagnosed since it's been less than a year since diagnosis. Reductions earned if he goes under 50, spends a week in almost all green. For cats that don't hold reductions well (too early to tell), an alternate method is 3 times between 40 and 50.
If you want to count cycles he's been only blue and green, include the preshots.

You will note that "cycles in almost all green", mean majority of time under 80, and only rare low blues. Tessa's 2023 spreadsheet is an excellent example.
