3/10 Mikan AMPS 432, +2 286, +4 107, +5 92, +6 106, +7 172, PMPS 392, +2 275, +4 215

Wow! That's an almost 200 point difference between the AT and FSL this morning! Doesn't look so bad on the FSL!

Ya. That's how I am trying to look at the numbers. Like you said, the difference is much greater once AT2 number exceeds 400. Fascinating.

Hoping for another calm day. If I can have my way though, I would like a little lower BG calm day :p

Your comment on another thread yesterday is so true, people with an AT2 are COMPELLED to see the difference.
Its too hard when the numbers are high to calculate the ratio.

I am addicted to the human meter now.

I am starting to see that. I wish I had not buy a whole bunch of AT strips when I panicked about their discontinuing AT2 strip  Maybe it was their sales tactic to announce the discontinuation so silly ones like me would run amok to hoard them. :banghead::banghead::banghead:

At AM +4, AT2=107, and FSL=64. Quite a reduction from the AMPS.

@Bandit's Mom, is this a part of the bounce she is going through?

At +4, I fed her some FF salmon pate with a small bite of 11% MC. Happy to see the lower numbers but feels a bit extreme!

Newly diagnosed cats can be super bouncy. As their bodies get used to lower numbers, they will bounce less and clear bounces faster. The good thing is that she seeing blues and greens daily - which is great progress!

Go easy on the MC now. Once she flattens out there is no need to feed higher carbs. In fact, feeding higher carbs after the nadir can reduce duration and contribute to bouncing. You can just feed LC. You want to save higher carbs for earlier in the cycle when the insulin action is strongest and you want to reduce the diving/sharp drops. Later in the cycle it takes less carbs to keep her surfing.

Oh I see. That totally makes sense. Thank you @Bandit's Mom!

I am expecting that she will not go any further down this morning. I'll keep testing until I go to work though, just in case.

@+7, 172 with AT2, 97 with FSL. Looks like the coast is clear for me to go to work. Phew. And yes, you are so right. Good progress with blues and greens!
