Yo cats and kittens of all ages

It’s time for everyone to gather together for the full moon pawty! Tonight, we celebrate the full Worm Moon! Of course there will be traditional favorites as purrpared by my mentors, Chef Felix, Chef Rusty, and the Kitchen Krews of yore at Worm Moons past:

Appetizers: Wormtinis; Hot Worm Toddies; New-Worm Old Fashioneds; Assorted Paw Prints Pizzas garnished with many varieties of Worms collected by our Pizza Chefs; Worm Rollups with Nip Dip; Sushi Bar specialties of Sushi Chef Tux and featuring worm-caught Hudson River fish in Chef Neko's fabulous Sushi Rolls.

Entrees: Night Crawlers a la King; Grilled Chicken with Red-Wiggler Marinade; Chef Mannie's Renowned Poached PNW Sockeye Salmon with Nip Mayo and Worm-casing Garnish; Chef Rusty's Thunderin' Bison Chili with Fresh Worm Salsa; Squirrel Kabobs; Wormburgers with The Works.

Salads: Central Park Sheep Meadow Greens à la Butthead & Donny with Worm and Vinegar dressing and Crunchy Worm-Casing Croutons; Confetti Slaw with Tiny Worms.

Desserts: Maggie's Signature New York Style Cheesecakes; Sweet-Worm Torte à la Chief Pastry Chef Tess; Tobey's Cimmamum Cookies with Worm Sprinkles; Surprise Dessert à la Dessert Chef Sootie; Chef Stu's World Famous Catmint Parfaits (without worms).

Newer traditions include Bubba's MouseMousse; Leo's Chunky Tuna and Salmon Ice Cream with Sardine Sprinkles; Chef Felix's Sweet and Savory Crunchy Crouton Toppers; Olive's Shoelaceghetti with a side of pickles; TinySolé's sister Cookie's cod brownies filled with catnip; PussCatDusty's crispy birds feet served on baked catnip wafers (mmmmm, crunchy!) as well as her sweet and sour skink tail vol-au-vents & freeze dried plain yoghurt balls; Chef Felix's Mediterranean platter with crunchy falafel, catmint mewli-tabouli, and smoked papurrika hummouse; Chieflet Luna's Longtail Surprise à la Rosa and Regan. You'll find Bella's Catinis at the Bella Memorial Tiki Hut.

Not feeling up to pawtying and dancing? Head on over to the Taster Blankets, including Olive’s Memorial Blanket, which will be set up away from the noise and too much activity for you. Roxi will be running notes back to me and the Kitchen Krew to make sure the food is as good as can be. The blankets have a great view of the Circle of Remembrance too, and all the other kitties will join you at midnight as the veil thins to see all our precious Gone Ahead kitties. It is always so magical to see our friends and family on the other side of the veil

Our very own in-house dance troupe, “Ruby and the Kittens” are already getting warmed up ready to dance the night away. They’d love to have you join them as soon as you’re ready to start pawtying!

We’re still looking for a new DJ for our pawties now that DJ Molly is spinning the decks at the Bridge. Please let Chef Luna know if you think you might want to join the team as a DJ! The Krew will do their best to play all your favorite music and are ready to take requests for anything you want to hear.

So find your best outfits and come join the pawty. We’re going to have so much fun!

Check out our new aprons too! Aren’t they awesome?

Chef Luna

Beautiful apron! I'm sure DJ Molly is preparing music at the Rainbow Bridge tonight. I look forward to the circle of remembrance. Gone a head kitties and my sweet Molly, who is still loved and missed terribly :(
The Circle of Remembrance is the very best part of any full moon party. Like you, we have several much loved and missed cats at the Bridge, and remembering them every month together with other families who have suffered a loss is such a special thing to be able to do. No-one else "gets" how we feel quite as much as the others here. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Since Molly passed a wait every month now for the full moon. So I can comment on this thread, I did when she was alive, but it's comforting for me to still be on here. It's been a hard 5 weeks without her.

When I lost Rosa, and then later Regan, long before I was involved in the party planning, I used to watch for the parties every month so I could comment. You're not alone in that at all - Regan attended every party after Rosa passed, until she went to join her sister almost 2 years later. It is a huge comfort - maybe one that most people wouldn't understand, but we have a need to feel as though we're still part of a community that cares.

I couldn’t agree more, by still being a part of the community. I didn’t have a good day today. I know I will stay have bad days. It’s just going to take time. I was hoping to see the moon tonight. But there is cloud cover here.

Please do pop over to the lantus forum for a minute to help me celebrate? im hoping Kitkats OTJ video will give you just a little bit of cheer. Did our best to make it cute and funny :bighug::bighug:

We had some clear skies earlier in the day, but now it just looks as though it's going to rain. But the moon is there whether we can see it or not, and the magic that is the Circle of Remembrance still happens.
So well said April! I have a fridge magnet from a good friend,,,, "good friends are like stars, you may not always see them, but you know you they are always there".,,, Cloudy skies?" not a problem! They are still there!!! Thankyou for your double duty tonight! Full moon and for Kitkat:bighug:

Kitties and hoomans all - gather round. It's finally time! The reason our Full Moon pawties exist is upon us...it's time for the Circle of Remembrance. We're delighted to welcome our hooman visitors to our pawty too so they can see their precious GAs pawtying alongside us as we do every month. Please make room for them everyone - I do think we're going to invite them to the Circle every Full Moon from now on. They deserve this special time just as much as we kitties do. Later, our pawty will resume and will continue until dawn. But for now - be still, be with your friends and family, and make the most of these special moments with our GAs. Adrienne - I know you are missing your Molly so, so much. Make sure you get a great spot to see her - she will be at the Bridge pawty for sure and will be so happy to see you. ~Chef Luna

It's fun when our kitties come to the full moon parties, and then you realize, when they Go Ahead, how comforting it is to feel like they know lots of other kitties at the Bridge. While they wait for us, they're with so many of their old friends they "knew" from the time they were still with us (in addition to our other GAs they knew in purrson).

....I was going to post more, but the kitty in my lap had some kind of seizure. We have another kitty who has occasional seizures, but it's never happened to this one. It's over now and she's calm; I'm not very calm....

Wow! I hope all things come good Susan! I would not be calm either.

Beautifully said, I do hope all is ok, this is the place to be to get help :bighug:

I agree with you, that's how I feel. It's been two long months since I lost my sweet Ti-Mousse and I missed the Full Moon party and its Circle of Remembrance..... Thanks for taking care of this every month!!
@Susan&Felix(GA) Hope your kitty is OK!
