03/05 Eddie AMPS 439 + 5 365 PMPS 475 + 6 302

I am so glad Eddie did this during a day you were home! Sorry I wasn't around - volunteer gig afternoon/evenings this week in downtown.

Looks like you are starting to see a little more SRT action. To answer your question about shooting after a reduction, a couple things to consider. First, you did the right thing last night. He was starting to rise, there was a good bet of a bounce to follow. However, there may come a time when he stops bouncing as much (fingers crossed), or he isn't as clearly rising to preshot time. Options then are to delay a bit to see if you can catch the rise, shoot a half dose to help drain the depot, or skip. Note that with a half dose, you can still see action the first part of the cycle. Draining a depot with reduced dose or skip can make the bounce worse, so you have to learn patience. But an overfull depot can also be a real pain in following cycles if that dose is clearly too much.

Bottom line, when it looks like SRT is kicking in, use extra caution. This is a good thing, but can be harder on you. It felt like a roller coaster when I experienced it.

You are so right. It's complicated. In fact, I am having this moment of horror because I MAY have given him 13u this morning instead of the reduction to 12u. It may not be the case but, good grief, I wrote that down. Hopefully it was just an unconsciousness moment where I wrote down what came before. This is the hard part too!!
I will carefully reflect upon your advice here re: coping with the SRT, the lessening of bounce and not rising necessary to preshot time. Oh, boy.
Thanks, Wendy.
P.s. if I did make that mistake, I hope it won't affect him adversely!!:eek::facepalm:

Just thought you might like to see how relaxed Eddie is today. I love it when he makes the space his own.
