3/1 CALI AMPS [76] 3Tbsp LC :D
Finally power back on! What a ride in the California Santa Cruz Mountains. All our horse and off grid camping and survival training and experience paid off.

we employed everything @Bandit's Mom and friends of FDMB taught us so Cali stayed in safe zone even with rudimentary techniques to warm my hands and her ears to test while juggling flashlight. THANKS :bighug::bighug::bighug:

In process of updating SS from my clipboard but wanted to post while we are still online.

How long did you lose power for???!!!
I lost count of days [seemed like 40 days and 40 nights!]. Trees down everywhere, roads caved in, huge mud slides on our property.
We were attempting to help our elderly [more elderly than us] neighbors and the Chinese family with 2 elderly grandparents and four young children. They have limited to no English and we have zero ability to speak or understand their language. Used translator on phone. Their parents were in Turkey and Syria [earthquake support?]. Trees blocked their access so they walked to our house. Today they still have no power nor heat! same for thousands in our mountain community. Gives us even more empathy for all humans experiencing natural disasters.

From 2/23. From prior posts I knew Bhooma understands when I don’t post it is because of no power, internet, nor cell Data. I can still text [I have tracphone] but there seems no way to notify my FDMB group. We never left the property from 2/23/23. better safe at home even minus heat, power, and connection. :arghh:

Wow! It’s been crazy with all the rain but you really had it tough. All I had was rain ruining one of my newly painted windows. I’m glad you survived. :bighug:

@cecile & bella so glad Bella is home to an immaculate house and doing well.
What symptoms did she present that caused you to check and proceed with dental? [Her BG spreadsheet always looked beautiful] :cat:
