which test strips do I need? I do not see thee CLASSIC strips on Walmarts website. Only the PRIME.

Thx so much, I found them on walmart website, there were so many and none seemed to match CLASSIC, I missed the Premier.
which side of the ear do you stick? fur side or underneath?

I always stuck on the fur side. Some members who have cats with black fur sometimes find poking on the underside of the ear makes it easier to see where to poke and when there's a drop of blood. It doesn't really matter.

Thx everyone for your help. I am going to Walmart soon to get the equipment needed and got the curves from my Vet that were done in Dec. and Jan. they were high. 400's mostly. Bear was 500 when diagnosed.
Hopefully when I get the nerve and what I need, #'s will be better. I;ve decided I will do him in his bed, like I do for his shots. He will not sit in my lap, or let me pick him up to put on a table. prayers please!!!

For information, Walmart has different lines of meters. There is the older Classic Prime as well as the current Classic Premier. There is also the Compact Premier, Blu Premier and Voice Premier. There were also corresponding Bluetooth, Compact and Voice odersm of the Prime line. Walmart no longer sell Prime meters but still sell Prime strips. Prime strips can't be used in Premier meters and vice versa.
