Hi everyone! Phoebe is doing well!
She had a few days this past month I don't think she was happy. Very clingy.
I checked her sugar yesterday mid day it was 140...... didn't take too much stock in it.
This am she is right on target.
For the rest of the crew: I am not sure if I told anyone---I was trying to catch 2 semi-ferals this winter. Well,---I did it!! Eyesy and Momma Kitty are now safe in my sun porch. Coyotes were getting so close to house I feared for their lives. They weren't happy to be caught. But we had a smattering of snow the night I caught them. I took a pic of the coyote tracks on my outdoor patio in the am -----footprint is huge!
I believe they are Snickers parents--for sure Momma Kitty. They came to me calling them every night. I could sit and talk to them and they were ok outside. They had kitty condos on the patio. Lately I would have to walk out the back yard half way to get Eyesy to come up....I think he knew the coyotes were here.
They are healthy looking. good weight. It will be some time to get them acclimated to the indoor life.
Moosey (my DIL's cat) is now comfortable to walk through the whole house. She was 17 lbs when she came 3 years ago--she is now 14 lbs. She is my CKD baby. Snickers is still goofy and runs through the house. Phoebe loves to chase the laser. One-eyed Jack is ok---he still has the intermittent bad ear. He has developed little dry sores on his tail and body. and he is barbering alot. But he is happy--he is 15.5lbs, down form 16 + lbs.
will be keeping eyes on them and of course all my furbabies. I am the crazy cat lady.
