Looks like she is on the way back up again. I’d get one more hourly test in thought to make sure.
When did you give the last high carb food? Was it +5.
We need to monitor for two hours after the last high carb food to ensure the BG is not going to drop again.

Yeah, it was + 5. I'll stay awake and get another test in an hour. Food?

You could give him a low carb snack if you like. It won’t hurt him and we aren’t trying to get him to surf or anything. We just want him to stay in safe numbers which he has done. How’s his appetite now?
It is so good having a cat who has a good appetite when something like thing happens.!

+8 hours 8.0
He’s much the same as +7 given meter variance..
He should be OK now. I don’t know what time it is where you are now.
I would give him a good feed of low carb food and try and get a bit of sleep.
If you are awake again before the next dose I would check the BG again.
It would be good if you kept posting on the forum so we can help you if it is needed.

I've gave him some food, he's not that in to it right now. I'll leave it out for him.
It's 4.30am here so I'm going to grab some sleep for an hour or two.
Thanks again for your help.
Will I have to do anything different tomorrow after his morning shot?

Make sure the preshot is high enough to give the 0.5 unit dose.
And I would monitor the am cycle closely as it will be influenced by the depot of the current cycle because Lantus is a depot insulin and because you gave more insulin this cycle, the depot will be bigger. In other words, the 0.5 unit dose may drop the BG a bit more than usual.

That’s good to hear things seem back to normal.
Are you going to maintain the spreadsheet? It’s a really good way of keeping track of things.
You are welcome to post here anytime for help or advice or just to say hello.:)
