Hi! I was given the suggestion to post on this board. Snuggles was on Vetsulin and I started her on Lantus yesterday. I would like any feedback with her numbers thus far. Thank you!

We have a certain way to post on the Lantus board for this post put
Date Snuggles AMPS-382 +3 287 +6 242 +9 241 then you can continue with his PMPS #
To fix your title now look to the right and tap on Thread Tools, then tap on Edit Title and erase what you have and put what I said and tap save
Then you can put his PMPS # when you take it
Do a new post everyday so members can follow along and then link the previous days post to it . Fix it now ,I'll wait and check it

Tablet is going to die , I'll be back later to check your title , plus running to the store now
Copy the instructions down so you have it or just bookmark this page for yourself

After you fix it I'll tell you how to find your previous days post to copy and paste it for the new days post

Thank you! I’m glad I have 3 days off in a row to test frequently. I’m slowly transitioning to LC food so hopefully that will help her BS. I’m glad I didn’t go with the Lantus 2u that the vet wanted me to give Snuggles. I worry now with giving the 1u that she will drop too fast. This morning three hours after her shot she dropped 95 points. Is that pretty normal for that time period? @Hendrick Cuddleclaw @Diane Tyler's Mom @Bron and Sheba (GA)

The onset of insulin with Lantus is around +2 so you can expect a drop in BG around that time. Some cats drop quite fast and others are more sedate. She levelled out after that and was pretty flat. You might like to offer a small snack around +2.
She is looking great.
Don’t forget to use the remarks column to put in information such as when you fed her and what you fed her. How she is. Any issues.

Ok! I have been giving her a snack of 2 teaspoons of LC wet food at +3 and +6…I’m going to change that to +2 and +5..does that seem ok? Do you mean to reply here on this thread with additional info? @Bron and Sheba (GA)

No it shouldn't, Go to your spreadsheet and look all the way to the right it says remarks up top, you can put how much you fed Snuggles ( lc) and when such as +2 etc or anything else you want to note

So for tomorrow you will start a new thread (post) with tomorrow's
Date Snuggles AMPS # and additional tests and then PMPS #
You are going to link this post you just did today to tomorrow's
The best way I can explain it ,look all the way up top now above that picture of that cat on the left hand side ,above that is what you posted today, do you see it?
You will copy and paste that on tomorrow's post
You see it has the date there 1-28 - Snuggles

Do you have a picture of Snuggles?
Tap on your name all the way up top then tap on avatar and add Snuggles pic, to tell you the truth after that I totally forgot how I added Tyler's .
If you have trouble I'm sure I can tag a member that can tell you how to add it

I think I understand..I will try all that tomorrow and tag you if I get stuck! I’m not sure what BSD stands for. @Diane Tyler's Mom
