We made it through our first time shooting early yesterday! I won't be repeating that anytime soon lol. It was nerve wracking and I had a hard time falling asleep because I was so anxious.
Tessa is still pretty skittish when it comes time for testing. She keeps hiding under the bed or behind/under furniture and in her little cardboard cat houses. I decided to switch to free handing with the lancets in case the click of the lancing device is suddenly bothering her. It is easier now that I know what I'm doing and I don't have to poke her as much to get blood. I'm hoping she relaxes a bit once she realizes that testing will be quicker.
