Is it time to threaten a dose increase? A week ago, nadirs were in the (low!) 50s, but this week has stayed pretty high, with about 80 as the lowest (measured) value. So confusing.

Sadly, yes. I leave right after +2 and generally don’t get home until right at shot time.

Can you get a mid cycle test today and tomorrow and one after +2 at night this weekend? Wonder how low yes going. Or if you try an increase do the same.

Sure! I’ll give him tonight to respond to the threat and up it in the morning if he doesn’t see some low 60s nadirs.

Alright, I got impatient and just upped him to 1.0 tonight. I’d rather be able to have more monitored cycles before going back to work on Monday morning! And today’s cycle was not responding to the threat. We’ll see how 1U goes!

Good luck! I might have asked this before, but does he get a snack at +1? He tends to dive quite a bit by +2.

I used to feed him regularly at shot, +1, and +2. I’ve recently moved to shot and +2. (Did that because of the pet sitter’s schedule over the holidays, and have mostly stuck with it because it’s a more tenable schedule) I did try going back to feeding some at +1 when we were seeing a dive into the 50s, but it honestly doesn’t seem to make a difference.

If his LC at +1 didn't reduce the diving, he probably needs slightly higher carbs then.
