We don’t have any information about your kitty at all.. The spreadsheet has no data in it.
It says in the SS that you are using Caninsulin. If he has not eaten I would not give him the dose as he needs food aboard to give caninsulin.
Did the vet mention any ketones at diagnosis?

I would just leave food out for your kitty and not give the dose.

You said in the intro thread you have set up your signature but I can’t see it.
I would buy some Keto Diastix from the pharmacy and test his urine for ketones.

I have put up my spreadsheet and signature, so.eone already told me that they cud see it. I don't have BS I fo as I am going away on holiday on Saturday and have just received the blood monitor in the post and so was waiting to transition to low carbon food and home testing in my return, as my friend is looking after Diamaris and my other cats whilst I am away. Our vet did ask me to try and ibtain a urine ample from him for our last visit, but with 12 rescue cats I cudnt manage to get one from him. But ahead did not seem overly bothered wen I told her I cudnt get o e. But I will buy the six n try now

You need a bit more info in your signature. Take a look at mine. We need to see the type of insulin, date of diagnosis, food you’re feeding and any other health issues he may have and meds he’s on. That way we can give you informed advice.

Can you add the meter you will be using to your signature, if you are not testing yet just put in ( not testing yet will test after I get home from holiday)
Hiya yes I will do that now. I'm sitting here crying, diamaris didn't want to eat much dinner either. Called vet, she advised to give half dose which wud b 1.5 units of caninsulin. He seems fine in himself. I thought that I was doing fine until I joined this site, as my vet had not given me much advice re home testing, hypo and how dangerous they can be, diet-advised me to purchase diabetic dry food from her. So I really thought hey this is easy, 2 injections per day, feed am n pm leave dry food out, visit vet every 4 weeks have fructosime level checked as libreview monitor fell off, but hey its no big deal. I feel a failure for not realising its much more serious, and I don't seem to be getting any better at grasping everything I'm meant to know

Hi @lozza12 I'm new here too. I cried as well before finding this site, as it felt in the beginning like we were really struggling to help Ethan make progress- he was moving backwards for a while.
I would wait to hear from the experts here on this-- but from my perspective I think the most important thing is to try to encourage Diamaris to eat something (anything) even if its not proper diabetic food for now. You can work on changing his food over to something diabetic-appropriate gradually and carefully, but if he's refusing to eat anything that could get dicey really quickly.
If I read your intro post correctly, he used to love his old food but was switched over to a dry diabetic food? Would he at least eat some of his old food, to keep him going for now, then you can work on changing his diet slowly?
