Hi friends,

I had to stall for a few hours several days ago and I'm confused on how to appropriately update my sheet to reflect that. Usually I shoot at 7:15 AM and PM but I had to stall and shoot at 11:30 AM yesterday (1/15). How should I reflect this in my spreadsheet? For example, today I shot at +3.25 in the morning.

Hoping that he has a good night tonight and doesn't go too low :) I would love some sleep lol.

@Bandit's Mom
Bhooma can you help out Meredith here and tell her exactly how to enter these on her SS Thanks Bhooma :bighug::cat: Everything is all screwed up :p

@Meredith Bear’s Mom
Meredith why did you stall this morning (1-16 AMPS) on your SS you have 149 in the AMPS Cell? If you had to stall you are supposed to put the first BG you got , then if there was a second stall and then the actual number you shot at all in the same AMPS Cell
Tell us what happened :cat:

I tagged you yesterday on Meredith's thread , I'll just paste it here

Hi Bhooma I saw you were helping Meredith yesterday I have a question since Meredith has had to stall a lot and try to get back on track , had to stall again last night. I know you can shoot any number over 50 when following TR and can monitor closely, have all your supp!ies and med and high carb food and honey available , Do you think it would be a good idea if Meredith feels comfortable shooting the low blues and not having to stall for hours and try to get back on track. I'm just curious
Thanks Bhooma :bighug::cat:
@Bandit's Mom
You really need to take a close look at her SS and how she entered the BG 's on it, I see this all started on 1-13 PM cycle when she shot @+2. There are notes in the remarks section

I think if you also look at her thread from yesterday it might help to understand what she did

I didn’t have to stall, I just had to wait until 30 minutes before the time the day before. Does that make sense? This is so confusing.

Also, to make things worse - my alarm to shoot tonight didn’t go off for some reason. So now I’m set back even farther :( I’m really upset/frustrated with myself. I’m usually great at setting alarms etc. I don’t know if I turned it off in my sleep? UGH

Oh boy, I feel like we are in the twilight zone :p. It's not funny I know, Don't get upset , things happen, hopefully Bhooma can straighten it out.
I even private messaged her, I saw her on a little while ago.
How late was tonights shot?
This is why you need to start shooting lower blue numbers as long as you have everything in case he drops too low like I said before
Can you add your PMPS numbers in your title

Now we have those 2 yellows for last night I should say last night since it's past midnight

Thank you so much for helping me, it means a lot :cat: I’m ready to shoot blues now after all of this. Lol.

Tonight’s shot should have been at 10:30. Instead it was given at 12:00. :(

I just heard from Bhooma and she's out most of the days replying back on her phone but she said when she gets home later tonight she will definitely look at your spreadsheet ok
@Meredith Bear’s Mom
I think I need a drink after all this :p I'm only kidding. You will get used to my sense of humor.
I will always help you and Bear if I can :bighug::cat:

To reflect that on the spreadsheet, you can put 227@+13.5 in the PMPS cell. 13.5 being the number of hours since the AM shot. Then you'd have to manually colour in yellow with the paint can icon. For the 15th PM, when I think you shot 3.75 hours late (?), you'd put 139@15.75. Then this morning, you could do 149@11.5, showing you shot 1/2 hour earlier. Since it's OK to shoot 15 minutes earlier per cycle, or 1/2 hour once per day, it's up to you whether you want to show that 1/2 hour earlier this morning. You could just put notes in the Remarks column if you want to remember it.

This is great, thank you!

Hahaha! You’re funny! Sounds great and I’ll wait to hear more from Bhooma. Thank you again :) I will give him a kiss for you!

Hi @Meredith Bear's Mom! I have been reading your condo ('Bear' is a nickname we often call Ethan!)

Not sure if this will be helpful/totally correct (caveat: I am still pretty new here). Yesterday I had to stall for 2 hours in the morning due to low-ish pre-shot numbers and not being able to get good data for a while.

In Ethan's SS I wrote the BG #s I got pre-shot in the AMPS column, as +13, +14... then once I finally gave his shot 2 hours late, I restarted the cycle clock starting from the new shot time.

E.g., +1.75 was the reading I took 1 hour and 45 minutes after giving the delayed shot.

We're now slowly working his schedule back.

Hi Erin! Thank you so much! This actually helped me realize why I was so confused. I had the actual time that corresponded with his 7:15 shot time written above the +numbers. I was still using these times when referencing the + numbers instead of starting over with the AMPS shot time. I'm not sure if that makes sense lol.

Hi Wendy,

Thanks for your post. This helped me figure out what I was doing wrong (I think). If you have a moment, are you able to let me know if this looks correct? I realized I was basing it off the AMPS and PMPS time being set (at 7:15) instead of putting what time I actually shot there and adjusting. Thank you :) @Wendy&Neko
