1/14 Cleo AMPS 54 +2.25 133 on Vet's AT2 PMPS 228 +3 125

Good luck! Just a regular check-up?

Well we survived the check-up...barely:blackeye:. Lots and lots of growling and hissing and she even lunged at me through the carrier.

Made the appointment because she needed full blood work done. The last time she had a full panel was in Feb. 2022 :(.
Vet said her teeth and mouth look good, did not feel any masses in her abdomen but he couldn't get a good listen to her heart. She was growling which made it difficult to discern if there was a heart murmur. She's back to 12lbs and he's happy with her weight. I'll have the results from the superchem cbc and urinalysis on Monday. On Monday, he'll call in for a script for compounded Gaba to have on hand if she has another FIC. He prefers Gaba over bupe for the time being . And she got the 3 year rabies vax.

AND HER BG WAS 133 ON HIS AT2. He told me to "keep doing whatever it is you are doing managing her diabetes because its working". So pending the urinalysis and blood results on Monday she has a preliminary clean bill of health.

She's so mad at me. So I channeled my inner @Amy & Herman and spoonfed her some MC 11% then left out some more MC of 11% since she won't let me near her to test.

Looks like she is saving all the action for the second half of the PM cycle. Quite the party animal. Pun intended!
I've noticed this too  and it looks like I'm back to waking up at PM +8 (2AM:confused:) at night. Thinking of treating myself to a new pair of PJ Party Pants:p

Glad to hear this, not sure what his stance was in the past, but my vet started at 5 units, was against hometesting, hands off was her approach, she was very unhappy to learn I was dropping his dose (substantially), and of all things... "based on an internet chat forum????!!!!"
That was up until we had a followup, i explained the protocols, info, and showed her his bloodwork. She was amazed and said the same as your vet.... "Wow,,,so what do you need me for?? :joyful:.
How do we change the world and make it a better place for all our furry ones???? I suppose.... ONE veterinarian at a time!:facepalm:;)

Hi Angela , I'm glad the vet visit is over with, Cleo sure is a feisty girl :cat:
I hope all her blood work comes back great!
Did Cleo make up with you yet :p
I hope so . Have a nice day Angela :bighug::cat:

Did Cleo make up with you yet :p
I hope she's calmed down by now.

Oh she's still mad! She hoodwinked me for a few minutes earlier today cause she wanted her scheduled snack. She gently meowed and head bumped my legs as I was prepping the testing kit and snack. About 3.5minutes after she was done licking the bowl, she turned looked at me and gave me an almost silent hiss showing me her sharp fangs. :nailbiting:.
I decided to leave her be and go to the office for a bit to get some paperwork done. She'll be fine by dinnertime. I do control the food. ;)

I don't mean to laugh but that is too funny :p
She must be Italian also, she holds a grudge :p:p
