01/11 LANDO AMPS 144; +2 115; +5 88

I have a pretty newbie basic question @tiffmaxee or @carfurby (GA) . How do i know how to regulate a possible midnight nadir? If lando is in the 80s or 90s at +2 ( 9pm) is it safe to assume he wont dive too low at +5 (midnight)? Or is that a real possibility
 
It’s a real possibility. I would set an alarm to check then. It’s been a LONG time since you have gotten a later test. Nadirs do move. How’s his appetite been? What meds on board?

Well his nadir during the day has moved to +5 , so it might be a +5 pm also. Surely people dont wake up EVERY night to check do they?
His appetite has come back, but he seems to eat out of duty not enjoyment nowadays haha. Meds are still ondesteron + cerenia
 
With Furball I would get a later at night test if I thought she was going to drop and I didn't have to go to work tomorrow. I had to guess her patterns and left extra food out for her on nights I couldn't test if I thought she might go lower. i hope this helps.

That does help carla thank you! It sounds like a “gut check” situation. Now that lando is eating again, i leave out food for the night. TY! - my timing is off with Lando, i still have 15 years until i can retire… if only he had come into my life then ;)
