I gave Jasper just a bit of food at +10.5 was that a mistake? I was concerned that by PMPS he would be a bit lower than I hoped. I usually give a small ammounr of food a bit earlier like +8 but I am pregnant and was taking a nap.

The not-feeding 2 hours before the shot is for people whose cats are new to insulin and who do not have experience with shooting lower numbers.

I have been thinking about this. He needs to drop below 50 to earn a reduction, but considering that you cannot monitor as much, I was wondering whether you want to reduce to 1.5U to keep him safe. He did not earn the reduction from 2U to 1.75U but he still held it. Shall we see what he does tonight and take a call? We don't want to reduce too soon and lose momentum.
