She did bounce up into the yellows last night but not very high or long and now she's down into the greens. Lowest preshot number ever, hopefully she won't go too low!

I had initially planned to run some errands today but I decided to stay home so I can monitor her.

She seems extra hungry today which should come in handy if she drops too low.

Not much of a difference between the Libre and the ReliOn this morning.

Unfortunately it is still struggling to accurately read lower numbers. I got a low glucose alert about half an hour after her AM shot. The app said 59 while the ReliOn test I did within a few minutes of the alert said 82.

I have read that there is an app I can set up that allows for calibration of the data based on inputting manual tests but it sounds pretty complicated. I don't know if it's worth the effort. I do log manual tests in the app so I can compare the data later. Maybe in the future Abbott will calibrate the data based on manual tests.

Decided to switch my title numbers to the ReliOn numbers instead of Libre numbers. They are not accurate when they're this low. Such a bummer. I did read one place online that said that the sensors continue to increase in accuracy for the first 2 days so maybe it will get better.

This is interesting. Keep us posted if you find that the sensor does get more accurate over the next couple of days. I definitely have seen Libres give sort of “false” low readings. Oh well, at least it gets your attention, right?

The weirdest thing is that I downloaded the raw data from Libreview and the numbers were much closer to her manual glucometer readers. The +1 was 74 which is spot on with the ReliOn meter. The +2 was 65 which is closer to the ReliOn but still lower. I know that all glucometers can read a little off from the "true" number sometimes so maybe that's all it is?

I know the Libre takes a reading once a minute so maybe it throws out the readings that don't "match" the rest when it dumps the raw data on Libreview. I can only see readings every 15 minutes there so I don't know what the system does with the readings between those 15 minute increments.
