? 12-22 Panzer HAS UTI NEED GUIDANCE AMPS 141/165@+2.5/226@+5.5/243@+7/PMPS 265/354@+3/344@+4/371@+6

Okay he just had insulin Ondansetron, & doxycycline @PMPS. I normally do the slippery elm @+4 +5 PMPS & skip Mirilax that night. He has Mirilax 2xs a day one day & once the next day & slippery elm bark instead of Mirilax, then repeat the next day & so on.
You do such a great job handling all these meds! For my cat Ginger, I have a spreadsheet for her meds and supplements.

Okay I will do my best, he's not feeling good so he's pretty much sitting to pee & having litter stuck to him. I'm going to have to put a small amount of water in the tub to soak his butt before we go to bed because he's stinky probably from the eventful poop.
Well, all you can do is your best and if he doesn’t cooperate…

Don’t go out. Just try the slippery elm bark to help sooth his digestive tract. Hopefully no vomiting will occur.
I ended up having to go out luckily I had my battery replaced a couple of weeks ago, that's what ended up being wrong with my car. I had to get pill pockets. We went from Spook taking one a day(Ondansetron 1/4 pill) & Panzer was taking one a day (Zobaline) now he's taking 7 pill pockets a day. 2 Ondansetron one @ AMPS & one @ PMPS, the doxycycline pills are to big for one pill pocket so I have to cut it in half & use 2 pill pockets. So he gets 3 pill pockets @ AMPS & 3 @ PMPS & 1 @+3 AMPS snack. So he's taking 8 pill pockets a day geesh. I'm gonna go broke from pill pockets we have 9 days of doxycycline left! Hopefully it kicks this horrible IUD.

So, is he having constipation or diarrhea or somewhere in between? Remember that Ondansetron can be very constipating, but of course antibiotics can cause diarrhea and so we can hope that the two will balance each other out. Paws crossed!

That’s a lot of pill pockets!

I write Panzer's numbers & meds in a notebook that I use daily & then I also put all of it on the spreadsheet of course & I also right in meds that Spook gets. I have so many notebooks full of his readings & notes, it's crazy. Spook still has to have Mirataz usually every 2-3 weeks, once he starts refusing food & needing fortiflora & me putting him back at his bowl. I do 2 days of trying to get him to want to eat then on day 3 I put mirataz on his ear.I think like Panzer he gets sick of different flavors to. I bought some weruva slide & serves, a few kinds are higher in carbs than Panzer can have. I figure I will see if Panzer likes the lower carb & how Spook does with the higher carb ones. Then I know what flavors to buy. This was a showcase pack from chewy that I bought before I knew Panzer had a UTI. I should probably wait until this UTI is gone though. I really want to get them off of the fancy feast (kitty crack) & on the lower phosphorus weruva if possible, there both super picky though.

He's not constipated I really think giving him the slippery elm every other night has helped with that. I'd say he's in between at the moment given the doxycycline. Yes hopefully the ondansetron & doxycycline combo will keep both in check.

That’s a lot of pill pockets!
:arghh: yes it is I'm just glad he takes them so well. I can't imagine pilling him any other way. Spook likes them to, he doesn't eat them out of my hand like Panzer. You have to put it in his mouth & then he chews it up & swallow it & eats his soupy food Lol.

353 AMPS/353@+3/352@+4 tested negative for ketones ❤ he's staying flat will give his ear a break & test @+6 PMPS before feeding. They both just scarfed down slippery elm bark with baby food @+4.
