12/22 Marley Lantus 251, +2 333, PMPS 278, +2 217, +3.5 107, +4 66, +4.5 66

Did he not eat the food from the feeder last night? Is that why the dive?

You want to see more blues and greens but better to keep the increase for when you can monitor. Do you have days off from work for Christmas?

I came home between +3 and +3.5. He hadn't eaten +3's portion but he had eaten the +1 an +2.

+3 was there available to him. I think he'd gone to sleep and hadn't bothered to get up but when he heard me and then saw it he was super hungry.

I will be working on and off today included, but I can be where he needs me to be = I can work around him.

Shall I keep it at the same dose this morning then?

yes I split the difference and did 2.5s

Ideally I will be able to go to work today earliest.....but if I cant I cant.

I felt like he needed an increase, but was a bit nervous about the 76 at the last dose.

Since giving the 2.5s I just found some old sick. Dont know when it was from. Maybe last night, and that is why he dipped.

I was only joking about liking f and Sa.

when it comes to whole numbers or half units to it’s def easier not to do a f or s . Todays choice was as I didn’t know which dose to go for.
But with the needles I have .25 doses are really hard to get right. It’s a nightmare and I do find f and s easier than them!

Do you have syringes with half unit marks? 0.25U is just halfway in between 0.5 and a whole unit. How do you measure an S or F?

Yes I do use half unit needles. The problem is with the top of the bit of the syringe you push in. Its often slightly diagonal, It has turrets, and its rounded not flat.

I cannot find another needle that is 13mm long and has half units, whose size is 30 unit capacity. So unless I change to 8mm this is what I have to contend with. I used to give him so many fur shots and I feel safer with the 13mm.

When it is a unit or half unit I can gauge because there is something to see an exact point of the pushy part against.

When it is a .25 and I am in the middle of space, so to speak, there are so many different things creating warps in perspective (the turrets - which are random, and the curvature of the top) and this is why they are so hard for me. So I feel its more accurate if I can aim for either just under or just over a .25 - like a fat or skinny.

Clear as mud?

He was 333 at +2

Would that mean I am safe not to test him until PMPS?

Its +3 now. I am about to leave for work but I could test him before I go - I'd just rather not make him bleed him more than is necessary!
