Herm was a bit grumpy with high BG last night. I had guests over which doesn’t usually bother him in the least so I don’t think that’s it, but lots of tail swishing and general crankiness. I also brought him a brand new cat bed that he refused to go near, so had to put back out his old ratty one (the new bed was an exact replica of old one!) Hope Herman turns around, might give some extra miralax just in case (no poops in lb for last couple days but he could have gone outside…..).
Come on herm!

Thanks Diane, he’s feeling much better than last night, the angry tail twitching is gone, but he isn’t completely himself. And I *think* he pooped recently (unfortunately when I found “it” I also found the neighbours cat in the litter box at the same time!) She’s much smaller and I did find what looked like a slightly older, BIG poop that was partially segmented/too firm so I think that must have been his. He also threw up earlier this afternoon. I think I will look at increasing his miralax.

…poor baby….he didn’t want to get out of bed this morning…(hard to believe that this is a king size bed and both me and my husband manage to fit in it as well!)

Bleh, I hate when they do that :( I'm sure sometimes they just want to be cozy for a nap, but it always makes me feel worried anyways.
Hope he comes back out to hog half the bed, as should be! Looks like a comfy bed, you're lucky Herman and Stanley agree to share it with you hehe

I was reading your profile and read that Stanley is a
Munsterlander , I had to look it up. He is gorgeous :bighug::bighug:

Stanley’s SUCH a good boy. Earlier today, when Herman wasn’t feeling great, and really was swishing his tail, he actually sat on Stanley’s paws and switched his tail into Stanley’s face and Stanley just didn’t budge. that said Herman seems to be more himself had a pretty good play session and isn’t bothering with his tail anymore. the big Poop helped.
