+2 79… I do wonder if a bit of the blue I’m seeing is mini bouncing from bg’s in 50/60’s yesterday I got a 45 that retested as a 61 5 minutes later (that’s how long it took for me to convince him to let me give a retest) so perhaps that was a bit low for his current comfort level. I’m trying to stick to lc but maybe when I see a drop at +2 some mc might not be a bad idea.Give him time. He took his time settling into the previous dose as well.
You do however, want to check if the plunger lines up to zero when fully pressed when you first use a syringe. At such a small dose, it can make a big difference![]()
Herman has been doing great. Give him some credit.Already thinking ahead to when i might want to go back to 0.5

Yes, I think I’m trying to stay positive and proactive while not allowing myself to be too disappointed if we need to wiggle back and forth a bit between these tiny doses….especially given the syringe discrepancies I now need to keep in mind. Thinking they might have accounted for some of our low days so I wonder if maybe he hasn’t actually earned a proper reduction yet! We will see! Overall, Herman in the last week or two has really had a turnaround with his neuropathy and watching him run more often and jump a bit and being a cheerful boy has really been great. Couldn’t be happier and don’t want to lose any of his progress! Go herm!Herman has been doing great. Give him some credit.I think he likes to prove you wrong all the time.

keep going Herman! And yes I am absolutely going to be more aware of my syringes 0 marker! I checked Amazon.ca for the ulticare ones recommended by @Elaine Lai but I don’t see them available here so I might try callipers first as you showed. Thanks!
Thank you! I will need help for sureI have been using calipers for a few months now and I love them, they are life changing. Took a bit of math to get there which I struggle with but it was worth it. We just grabbed them at Canadian Tire, any digital ones with a locking wheel will do, the ones with the shorter ruler part are easier to handle. If you do decide to pick them up and need a hand I can help, or if you are using the BD syringes I can give you the numbers![]()
