After yesterday's mini bounce, Chispa decided to go all out and REALLY bounce this morning. After her relatively small drop at +2 last night, I checked her spreadsheet, read the tea leaves, and decided I could safely leave food in the feeder and go to bed. I'm trying to get away with less testing lately because of how resistant she's becoming -- but I have to think this morning's high numbers are probably the result of an unseen drop last night.

I feel like she is less regulated than she was before I went on vacation in mid-October and lowered her dose. I raised it again when I returned, but that was almost 4 weeks ago. I don't understand why she hasn't leveled out again, and I worry about all the bouncing and how much time she is spending in blues. Wondering if I should try raising the dose and accepting that I am going to be getting most of my ZZZs on the couch in 2-hour increments for a while. Like everyone else, I just want to do what's best for my squeaker-pie.

Ohhhhhh boy, I can relate. :bighug: Such a roller coaster of emotions, excitement, despair, nerves, joy! I have become so nervous of jinxing any progress, we are all just hoping so hard for our kitties to get better but with FD it often feels like it’s two steps forward, two steps back. You are doing such a great job! :bighug:

Thanks so much for the encouragement. Coming from the House of Herman, it means a lot!:bighug::cat::bighug:

She did get down to 55 on this dose. If you were to try an increase that would mean more testing. She might have gone lower than 55. I’d stick with this dose unless she doesn’t return to green tonight or tomorrow.
Thanks, @tiffmaxee -- you're right, I don't want her going much lower. Just wish she would be a little more consistent. She is down to a cool 105 at PMPS, so that's a step in the right direction.

Chispa did see greens in the 50s in the pm cycle on 11/13. This might just be a bounce from those lower healing greens. It can take up to 6cycles to clear a bounce. I'm not one to give advice about dosing especially since I have the "raise the dose trigger finger". Let's see what Elise @tiffmaxee and Bhooma @Bandit's Mom think.
@Angela & Cleo I had forgotten about the six cycles. Thanks for the reminder. :cat:
