That's my understanding too. We try to get above 50 then feed to keep the surf above 50.I will bow to Angela’s knowledge, as your kitty is on TR which I am not at all qualified for. But in general I would say that if it comes down to it, whatever he will eat, at this point. It’s possible the honey could be burning off by twenty minutes too and he’s just coming down again… which means it was only a temporary fix. And temporary fixes like honey or glucose gel will keep him alive but you would have to keep re-giving it every few minutes.
