We have been on a bit of a roller coaster since 22 Oct 2022, with two under 50 lows in one day, followed by a bit of a bounce on 23 Oct 2022, then a blue day yesterday, with a third low under 50 last night. Now I think we are bouncing again.
At this point I don't really want to reduce, but so far per-emptively feeding the lows has not worked brilliantly - yesterday I tried that and we had a blue day throughout.
Today I will test at +2 (now) and decide whether she is getting LC or MC at +2.

Sorry, this post was from this morning and I forgot to hit post.
I've solved today's mystery at least. When I checked her BG at +2 tonight I caught a faint whiff of Lantus from her flank (morning injection site). As I jabbed her in the scruff this evening and couldn't smell Lantus there I must have hit a fur shot this morning.
She's in a horrible mood tonight (hissing and growling when I test), so I'm not going to test again, but will give her a little gravy in case she goes low overnight.

I’m sure it has to be a challenge with all that fluff! I can barely see what I’m doing on my short-haired kitty most of the time.

yup, she's a fluffy girl! Both ours are, but at least she doesn't have a double coat! Giving our civvy boy regular shots would be a nightmare!I try to vary shot location, but it ends in fur shots more regularly, so I usually default to the scruff.
