I think you can try a reduction even if 100-110 and the next test is green. It’s 7 days with green nadirs mostly under 80.

Okay! Now it looks like a good day to start 0.1U tomorrow. Maybe I also need to gradually cut down his food portion? He's not yet his ideal weight but only 1 pound or so to go. He's been eating 250~300 Kcal per day after diagnosed, which I think might be too much considering he's indoor and sedentary.

Yes, slowly cut down in what you feed. Dr.Lisa has a formula for figuring out tge calories for weight loss.
