Can someone tell me if I need to stay up longer to test tonight? I am just really tired ( pregnant) and was not sure if the numbers were close enough or high enough to know he is good for the night or if I should test again in an hour?

Ok thank you I thought I might be but I still feel somewhat unsure sometimes.

Ok we can do that, his numbers have been pretty high since lowering the dose but I wasn't sure if it was just him adjusting to the new dose.

Tonight was cycle 9 on the new dose. Enough time for him to clear the bounce and show us what he can do on 1.5U. He hasn't seen anything below 150.

@tiffmaxee I was wondering what happened. It feels unfortunate to have to up the dose again, I got hopeful about the reduction but I did up the dose this morning.

It’s very common to have to go up and down between doses. You don’t want to hold a dose too long if it’s not working because insulin resistance can set in requiring even more insulin. Try and feed him to prevent a decrease for as long as possible and see if he can surf blue and green. I know how frustrating it is.
