Possible Remission for my cat logan?

How do You know WHEN your CAT is going into Remission? I haven't been testing during mid cycle.. but in the AM and the PM testing before shots, my cat Logan has been showing good numbers.. The last few days he has recieved .25 and .30 of prozinc.. any ideas and or suggestions??? I guess I should check him during mid cycle to see where he's at.. thanks for any comments.. sandy

Looks like Logan is going into remission. I would also take some BGs at ~+5 or 6 to see what is happening. If looking good just continue to decrease dose. At the low doses you are on make sure you look where the end of the plunger is when fully depressed in relation to the Zero lin since some syringes can have the Zero mar off my almost ½ unit.

A cat that is about ready for remission should be showing almost all numbers in the normal BG range. That means lower blues and lower. None of those yellows. If you can get some mid cycle tests, that'll tell you if he's going lower and bouncing, or not going lower and needs more insulin. Don't forget some spot checks before bed in the night time cycle.
