10/4 Herman amps 137 +4 234 +11 88 pmps 122 +1 124 +3 95 +7 90

Well +4 is disappointing. He’s also GRUMPY. I wonder if he gets constipated occasionally and if that affects BG. He’s always preferred pooping in our indoor arena so hard for me to track. I did see him poop yesterday, perhaps he strained a tiny bit but hard to tell with the neuropathy and his new postures.

Aww, Herman tricked me into thinking he wasn't going to bounce anymore. :joyful: Now you have permission to focus on other things.
Oh he had me tricked too. Trying not to panic. Wondering if this am shot didn’t land in a great spot either, I am having a heck of a time with shots. He’s never been easy but his skin is extra tight lately and his fur has exploded for winter. Between the squirming and hissing and growling it’s been a struggle.

I don't see a reason to panic. Constipation can definitely cause higher BGs. Rex used to have that issue. Do you add anything to his diet to help with that, like pure pumpkin?

I haven’t as I’m not sure he is really having issues so haven’t don’t much research. Is pumpkin low carb enough to add safely? I could try that if it can’t hurt.

I gave pumpkin to all the cats, even though only Rex had issues. It was fine. The way I saw it, it couldn't harm anything because all my cats were older and I figured they could use all the help to make that easier on them. It didn't raise Rex's BG.

Great - something to try!
