I'm not sure why she is so high recently. I hope this dose will make her go down.
The vet finally said we could schedule a dental (she wanted to wait until her diabetes was more controlled), but they don't have anything until mid May, and the estimate is $1000 :nailbiting:
 
She has been tightly regulated since March. How much more control does the vet want? And mid-May??!!!
I'm surprised vets are so packed in the US. I could get an appointment for a dental (or anything else) next week!
 
Maybe I should pack Bella and visit you ;) she would hate the trip, though.
I know, it's crazy here. I'm in a big city too, that does not help. i am sure if I went maybe 2 hours west, prices would be lower and there would be more appointments. I will try to call the veterinary school at the university, maybe they have more openings!
 
Mocha’s dental with one extraction and X-rays cost me over $1500. I’m paying it off monthly! I had to wait 2 weeks for the appointment. They say there’s a shortage at of vets and techs where I live.

I hope the dental helps her bg too. If any extractions are needed I was amazed how Chai was fine that night. I didn’t even use any bupe, $39 wasted but glad she felt better.
 
Bella had extractions and a cleaning in 2019. She did very well too, no need for pain meds and she was fine that night. I am surprised by the long wait time, and don't get why they would not schedule her when we went in May, we could have an appointment soon now! I will look around. Anyway, it is nt my usual vet who does the dentals and I really do not like the one who does them, so it does not matter to go somewhere else.
