Newbie here. So Oreo (AKA Bao) was dx on 09/01/2022 due to urinary tract infection, and started with Lantus 1U since then. Learned to do the BG testing and other things from super helpful info here. Last night we went through a minor Hypo although without any symptoms but we were scared. Also his BG SS didn't make much sense to me. I felt like walking in the mist. Would really appreciate any help to clear the air.

Yep you're right Elise I saw her SS before , I hope she fixes it because her cat dropped to 60 using the Alpha Trak and didn't reduce probably didn't know too
This is weird if you click on Oreos SS at the bottom of her signature you can see her SS , maybe she should just delete the link

Hi Elaine I saw your spreadsheet before but we can't see it now if you click on the https// link that you have ,so delete that I posted it below ) and just leave Oreo's spreadsheets , I can see it there if I tap on it

You have to
To set spreadsheet sharing permission:
* At the top right of the spreadsheet screen click on Share.

* In the pop-up dialog box click on the Get Link section.

* Change link access from 'Restricted' to 'Anyone with the link' and make sure that the permission on the right hand side is set to 'Viewer'.

* Click Done to save the changes.

I see you used a human meter on 9-19 @+5 morning cycle , please stay with one meter
Most of us use human meters that's what our numbers are based on , but if you want to stay with the Alpha Trak it's fine. The strips are so expensive as you know.
At least with a human meter such as The Relion Premier Classic you can run to Walmart and pick them up , and don't have to order the Alpha Trak strips online

Please go post on the main health forum like Elise said so we can help you, Oreo is dropping too low

That's exactly why I used the human meter that time for the AT2 strips (vet asked for doing the BG curve) ran out so quick and we were waiting for the online order delivery and again the delivery got delayed. After the newly bought two boxes of AT2 test strips used up, will definitely switch to human meters.
 
Save some of the AT strips until close to expiration because you can use that meter as a backup. If ever you get a bg that doesn’t seem right you can recheck with your other meter.
