? 9/17 Fluffy AMPS - 77 +4-129 +6-81 PMPS -116

Following SLGS anytime Fluffy drops under 90 you reduce by 0.25 units
Dose for tonight will 2.5 units
You should have reduced this morning because last night she did drop below 90
with her PMPS of 86

Yes, that drop below 90 last night (and today) was a reduction. You would go down to 2.5U
Btw, with SLGS, you do not shoot below 90. If you get a preshot below 90, you stall without feeding and test in 20 mins to see if the number rises over 90 and then shoot.

What if his BG Is over 90, I'm going to check it in a few minutes, do I still reduce the dose to 2.5 U?

Yes. Take the reduction. Actually I won’t delete my post on your last condo. So read it but don’t respond there. Continue using this one.

In addition, I still work and am challenged with major decisions about my own health....it's all too much but I have to keep going!

Thank you for your understanding and compassion. Fluffy is very special too me and I mess up at times Forgetting about the community dish being down or His shot time that gets by me and then I'm late And have to re adjust his schedule for days. But I truly am doing the best that I can to care for him best that I can And I could not even do that without the people who respond to my posts. I appreciate each one of you who read my posts and offer support, advice At a times, doing the thinking for me when it comes to reducing or increasing his dosage.

It's the caring folks like you in this world that make a big difference And I cannot ever repay you for being there and for your kindness and your patience as we all walk this FD journey together.

I can never thank you enough! :bighug:
You are a blessing and I greatly appreciate you!!

God Bless you and keep you!

Hello Scarlette! I haven't been around as much as I would like to lately because I have been dealing with my own sick cats. But I hope to be back more this week as things are stable for now (I almost hate to say that). Then add, husband, kids and everything else to the equation. But there are a lot of people with problems like sick family members and personal illness and grief on this Board -- and those are just the ones I know about -- so I'm not complaining. But you are doing a good job caring for Fluffy! Keep up the good work! You are right about "just keep going" sometimes that's all we can do.

I am so sorry to hear about your babies being sick. I hope they are all okay and recovering. We truly live in hard and difficult times. It makes me think back in the day when the people in the 1940' and 1950's experienced hard times, wondering if they are alive today and in right mind if they would feel times were harder then, or now? But I spose it'd all be relative and possibly the same in their own time. I wasn't alive in those days but I know I've had hard times my entire life. People everywhere are hurting and struggling. I dunno where it will all end and get better. At least back in war times things were unbearable but when the war ended, things got better and easier. I've yet to see an "easier" time in my life time.

Thank you for the encouragement. We all need that! So you also hang in there and I hope your situation improves this week more than you even anticipated. I hope you run into a specail blessing this week that will lift your spirits! :bighug:

Ps...I noticed you were away and I missed you!
