Upped dose yesterday pm into a bounce. Woke to blue amps  …he’s really starting to clear bounces quickly. ……aaaaannnnndd he just threw up (apparent scarf n barf). Will get more food into him once he settles.

100 point dive at onset! Did he get a snack at +1?
Yes. He did. He did a little bounce up at +0.5 - I wouldn't normally test that but he went to his "hidey spot" so i figured he either shot up or down. I still gave him another lc snack at +0.5 +1, +1.25 (since he had done a scarf n' barf so I gave him multiple small snacks over the hour that he kept down). Now +2 he got tsp15%.

Oh Herman, why do you have to do that? Go into greens right after an increase!!!
I know! :D:eek: I just fed a pinch of 15% mc ....still have a long day ahead of us and I don't want to fill him up. He also has decided to play hard to get, as to be expected on a day like today . I performed acrobatics getting a +3 through a giant hydrangea bush because he, while bright and cheerful looking, REFUSED to come out. Normally a shrill "Herm!!!!" from me gets him to come a running for a BG. Snack was delivered through said hydrangea in a little glass bowl. Like I said, it's going to be a long day!

58 @+5 and I have been feeding 15%mc hourly since +2 ....I realize he isn't lime yet, but when does one add karo to slow down a drop? Or is that just when they are already too low? :nailbiting:

I didn't do honey or karo unless they were lime numbers. However, I have done HC to slow the drop. Do you have any? This is a bounce breaking cycle so it's hard to know when the nadir will happen. You could see what he is at for +6.

Gave some 20% @+5.5 he seems to becoming up, will test in an hour. He led me on a wild goose chase for this last BG.

Tracking Herman down for a BG. He gets around. All in a span of 20 minutes. Finally allows me to test outside barn on picnic table. Grateful to work from home, but no wonder I’m always behind on work!

If he continues to raise, you can switch to LC. MC or HC is no longer needed.
It would appear he is not done dropping for the day. :D:nailbiting::eek: On the bright side, it appears he gets a decent bump from the 20%, it just doesn’t last more than 45 min. Feeding a small amount of mixed 15/20% now.

Now….do I continue at this increased dose despite the fact I’ve been bumping him with 15-20%carb for the last 5 hours because this was likely a bounce breaking cycle? If I had not done the mc intervention he most likely would have been too low today. :bookworm: Hmmm

I think you should stick with 2.5u and see if you can see better numbers overall if he doesn't give you any limes. The bounce clearing cycles make it more difficult to see which dose is doing what.

Agreed. Will hold steady at 2.5 unless he does something naughty before pmps.

He ate a fair bit of 20%carb at +7….not sure if I should feed again now that it’s +8 or “wait and see” seeing as its fairly late in cycle. Just thinking out loud. Might hold back on food and test +8.5

Oh my, that all sounds so stressful! And yet here he is, completely unbothered and utterly adorable, sitting in his hydrangeas... Hope you have your own supply of HC chocolate on hand!
Yes Herman thought today was awesome, I have two empty cans of yummy gravy lovers to prove it.
