Well, Maybe I could have my caregiver put extra moist food out. (she does come twice a day) anything left over at the end of the day---or the next morning she could throw out. Not ideal. but there is food in case of low sugars.
You can leave out this instead of the friskies party mix dry which is higher carbs
Wellness core original says
What percent is carbohydrate?

This recipe has a carbohydrate content of 13.04% on an as fed basis and 14.17% on a dry matter basis.

this then would be good to leave out while I am gone. GOOD!

Why are you asking about crave?

I ordered it as I think it was in the list of low carb. I have tried many different kinds. then i leave some out and see how they respond to it.

The Instincts limited ingredients diet---my one cat likes alot. I sent an email to the company for carb count.
The Wellness Core original they like
and the Wellness Indoor they like.

I sent off for the Crave to see if they liked it and it is suppose to be lc. from From Chewy--It is already on the way. They will give me a credit if they don't like it.

It's better than leaving out the party mix , at least they will eat it
When you go away just put in your post when you ask about the dose that you are leaving it out because you have no one to test her ok

good idea.
so to recap for my memory.
when i leave: post a day early to see if I should stay at the same dose.
post "help with dosing while away" on my daily thread
add that my provider does not test and the insulin is predrawn for my absence.
add the kibble I leave down due to the no testing in my absence and the type with the carb listed

did I get it right?

Yes correct I would post it 2 days before you leave on the lantus board

The indoor is too high
This recipe contains approximately 27.00% Carbohydrates on an As-Fed basis (approximately 29.35% Carbohydrates on a Dry Matter basis).

Stay with the Wellness Core Original while you're away
@eva eva
good to know on the indoor.---- I will get rid of the indoor.
keeping the Wellness original.
and the LID turkey.. may be the same as the rabbit. I can feed that to my outdoor kitties---get them away from the friskies party.---eventually more moist and less dry.
