I ordered one of those kitty harnesses for Max to take on vacation with us. I am so afraid of him getting out of the truck or the RV. He’s terrible about hiding too. When we first adopted him, we took him to the Outer Banks camping and he got lost twice! Thank God he hadn’t gotten outside but he somehow got out of the carrier and got under the seat in the truck. I was sitting in the truck and didn’t see him do it. The second time he crawled up into the springs of a chair in the RV. I happened to see his orange tail hanging out or I’d have never found him. He’s a real hot mess. Maybe that harness will help me keep up with him. Thanks for that suggestion!

@Max & Lori , Cats are expert escape artists, which was why I thought that kitty harness was such a genius idea. I've had one of my kittens almost escape from his carrier too, it was a short distance to the garage door too. If Max has never worn a harness before, be prepared, he may do what my Buster did at first, he acted like he couldn't walk anymore.:rolleyes::rolleyes:He simply lay flat on his belly and tried to slither. But he got used to it after awhile.

I can see Max doing the same thing. Thanks so much for suggesting it.

So the PJ party begins.:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: Here we are @+4 and Max doesn’t want anything else to eat right now so I will recheck him again soon to make sure he’s not still diving.
